For Cycle 11, the Council has created two application forms for proposers to post directly to the Governance Forum. Please find the forms for each grant here.
Which form should I use to submit for Cycle 11?
For Cycle 11, the Council has developed two application forms, one for each Sub-Committee. You can access those forms here. There are prior forms that have been used in previous cycles. Proposers should not use the prior forms. The Council has solicited feedback and taken efforts to improve the form in order to direct proposers to include details that are highest-impact for evaluation.
Which type of grant should I apply for?
There are two types of grants: Builders and Growth Experiments.
Builders grants are focused on maximizing the number of developers building on Optimism. Successful proposals may include individuals and small teams building something of value on Optimism or something of value for developers building on Optimism. Some examples of the types of projects that could fit in the builders category are applications, tools, SDKs, hackathons, technical content, etc.
